Der Hauptfilm hat eine Spieldauer von ca. 105 Minuten und ist mit Ethan Hawke, Laurence Fishburne, Maria Bello, Gabriel Byrne, Brian Dennehy sowie John Leguizamo gut besetzt. Abgesehen vom Anfang, der m. E. überflüssig und unnötig ist, hat mir der Rest des Films, welcher an einigen Stellen auch recht hart und brutal ist, gefallen. Obwohl die Story nach relativ kurzer Zeit klar ist, ist man trotzdem auf die Zuspitzung der Ereignisse sowie den Showdown zum Schluss gespannt. Darüber hinaus gibt es ein paar überraschende Wendungen, die düstere Atmosphäre (Location und Tageszeit) trägt aus meiner Sicht zum gelungenen Konzept des Films bei. Das Bonusmaterial ist unter dem Punkt "Extras" zu finden und beinhaltet die Beiträge "Der Waffenausstatter", "Der Produktions-Designer", "Der Stunt-Koordinator", "Das Team" (jeweils OmU), einige "Deleted Scenes" (5 Stück, OmU), die Doku "Hinter den Kulissen" (OmU), "Die Besetzung" (6 Filmografien, Texttafeln) sowie "Der besondere Filmtipp" (deutsch) mit einer Gesamtspieldauer von ca. 59 Minuten - ein für diese Disc angemessener Umfang und zum Teil auch noch interessant.
