Ayaz Ata is a character we often see in Altai, Siberia, Volga-Ural and Turkestan (Central Asia) in mythologies and particularly in  the Kipchak and Siberia Turks.  
Ayaz Ata is defined as the Cold Han in Turkish, Altaic and Central Asian mythologies, and especially in the Kazakh and Kyrgyz Turks and Turkmens.  According to mythologies, he is a saint who help the homeless and hungry  that appears in the cold winter.
He is a character that has been transferred from generation to generation as a cultural exemplar between the Turks in this region for centuries  who is well known and still shows up at the events. In Uzbek, Ayoze Bobo – in Kyrgyz, Ayaz Ata , the Kazakhs, Ayaz Ata – Azerbaijani Turks, Shah Baba – Tatars, in QIS Babay – Bashkir, Winter Father and has a daughter or granddaughter named ‘Snow Girl’ .
The mythological character Ayaz Ata who isn’t known very well in Turkey, is also known as, Ayas Han, Cold White Ayas.Ayaz Ata was created by moonlight. Causes cold air. Six star of the bledias are the six holes of the sky and blow cold air from there. So come winter. Ayaz, means bitter cold in the whole Turkish geography.  Because it occurred in open weathers when the Moon is easily seen, it is believed that he is sent by  the  Moon’s Spirit (or by Ayas Khan).  He is a saint who help homeless, hungry  who are seen in the cold winter in most Turkish tribes.
