Ayaz Ata is a character we often see in Altai, Siberia, Volga-Ural and Turkestan (Central Asia) in mythologies and particularly in the Kipchak and Siberia Turks.
Ayaz Ata is defined as the Cold Han in Turkish, Altaic and Central Asian mythologies, and especially
in the Kazakh and Kyrgyz Turks and Turkmens. According to mythologies, he is a saint who help the homeless and hungry that appears in the cold winter.
He is a character that has been transferred from generation to generation as a cultural exemplar between the Turks in this region for centuries who is well known and still shows up at the events. Winter Father and has a daughter or granddaughter named ‘Snow Girl’ .
